Q-Tip, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jonah Hill Join Forces for a Hip-Hop TV Show

It’s always nice to see musicians investing their time into interests other than just music. In an effort to pay tribute to, and enlighten those who are perhaps unfamiliar, Q-Tip has teamed up with Leonardo DiCaprio (one of Q-Tip’s BFFs), and Jonah Hill for an autobiographical-style TV show that will focus on the Native Tongues movement. The scripted show will based on the Abstract’s personal experiences from the era, when De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, and Jungle Brothers collaborated in the ’80s and ’90s and pioneered “conscious hip-hop.”

No other details on the project have emerged, other than the fact that there is neither a title nor a script for the project. Regardless, this will be an interesting one.
