A$AP Rocky x Gesaffelstein – “In Distress”

And now we know: A$AP Rocky can make good music with dance music producers. Rejoice!

This collaboration between A$AP Rocky and genius French producer Gesaffelstein was one of the two most anticipated tracks from the Divergent soundtrack (the other being Kendrick Lamar x Tame Impala), which has already given us new music from M83 and Chance The Rapper. It’s not the mind-blowing masterpiece that I had privately hoped it might be, but it’s definitely better than Rocky’s previous foray into this field, the Skrillex-produced “Wild For Night.” Gesaffelstein comes with the kind of gritty, hard-hitting beat that we heard on his brilliant Aleph album, with the highlight being when the beat drops out around the two minute mark and those haunting keys come in. Listen to the track below.

The Divergent soundtrack is in stores March 11. The movie hits theaters March 21.

shouldn’t it be Gesaffelstein feat. A$AP? If not then every pop song should pronounce feat. Dr. Luke or Max Martin right? But, I see why they are doing it to sell copies with A$AP name in front.

Yeh, they’re just putting the big name first cos it’s the biggest selling point. Makes more sense to put this tbh:
