A lot can happen in a year. Haim finished Days Are Gone in June of 2013, and the album was released three months later. Now the Los Angeles sisterhood of Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim (plus drummer Dash Hutton, didn’t forget you Dash) have the lion’s share of the indie-rock spotlight, the rock stars they were born to be.
They came back to Coachella with the big font, and ran through an eight song set that included favorites off the album (“Falling,” “The Wire”) and a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well.” And oh yes, there was bass face.
