The New York underground duo The Underachievers have their studio debut The Cellar Door: Terminus Ut Exordium on the way at some point in the near future. No official release date has been announced for the album yet, and the record label that will be distributing the LP remains unknown.

However, we do know that The Underachievers have already started recording material for the release thanks to “Chrysalis,” a shadowy new track from the group, accented by tongue-twisting rhymes and rapid-fire flows. The opening bars give a shout-out to A$AP Mob, and it makes sense. A$AP Rocky or A$AP Ferg would feel right at home on a beat like this. Listen to the track below.

It was apparently originally set for release on May 13th. I knew the album was going to end up being delayed ='( .Hope we don’t have to wait to long for it.
