Stream La Roux’s New Album “Trouble in Paradise”

In a clever interactive display on her website, U.K. electro-pop princess La Roux has released the stream to her upcoming album Trouble In Paradise. The album, being released via Cherrytree and Interscope, is set to drop on July 21, and will be the singer’s second—a follow up to her self-titled debut back in 2009.

A few of the songs have already been released as singles—”Tropical Chancer,” “Uptight Downtown,” and “Let Me Down Gently”—and they’ve sounded quite good. Give the whole thing a listen over at La Roux’s interactive website (click the colored buttons with the song names at the top of the screen) here.

This is a solid album… she’s matured a good deal since her last release. She’s maintained her electro-pop foundation and added some funky elements. Is it not a cool thing to see someone seemingly go off the radar to return as a better version of their previous self?
