It was only a matter of time. As soon as pharmaceutical executive/Wu-Tang enthusiast/internet supervillain Martin Shkreli came at Ghostface Killah with a Ghostface-style diss video, the internet started salivating over the possible response.
Ghost does not disappoint. I mean, really—the man is rewriting the rules on public shaming. The twelve-minute response has everything: brutal insults (“the man with the 12-year-old body,” “it’s Ghost vs. Peter Pan in 2016″), memes (Shkreli as Pewee Herman), and eternal truths (“money don’t make you a man”). Ghost even brings out his sister and mother to close out the proceedings. It gets emotional at the end: the rapper and his family end by making impassioned pleas for Shkreli to lower the price of his drugs.
Of course, this just means more press for Shkreli. I’m assuming we won’t see a boxing match, but I also assumed Ghostface Killah wouldn’t be beefing with someone nicknamed “Pharma Bro” in 2016. Yet here we are:
