Sharon Van Etten, who we first featured with fiery folk-rock number “Serpent” in November (still available to download now), will have her third album Tramp released by always on-point indie label Jagjaguwar on February 7th. Recorded in Aaron Dresner of the National’s home studio, as of now it is being streamed in full by NPR, and I suggest you take a listen to the powerful collection of stormy rock and folky ballads that make up this raw, personal and very enjoyable album.
