Indie buzzers The Neighbourhood’s latest track just hit the web. It’s only the third song we’ve heard from them to hit the web, but the buzz around the band is nearly tangible already. “Wires” is toned down from the last single, “Sweater Weather.” It’s more brooding and less catchy, adding diversity but losing out on immediacy. It’s not a bad thing. The song begs for a few extra listens and leans less on indie-pop, implementing some boom-bap percussion and tension to their small catalog. The track is off of their upcoming EP, I’m Sorry, which is set to be released on Monday.
