Last August, The-Dream dropped 1977 for free via his website. With the re-issue craze alive and well, it looks like he’ll be throwing his hat into that ring, with a retail release of 1977 set to drop on the 18th of December. Much like The Weeknd‘s Trilogy, Dream will include a few bonus tracks, including “AK47” and this new, sparse cut “Tender Tendencies,” on the retail version. This one feels almost like something Frank Ocean would murder, with a slow build of off-kilter sounds (from what sounds like echoed snares to looped creeking), creating an intense soundscape before the kicks even come in. Get lost in this.
