Brothertiger’s funky chillwave seems to come from a future world, blending bits of Washed Out with disco memories to project its sounds back to present day. It’s the brainchild of Brooklyn’s John Jagos, and his most recent effort is “Chains.”

Jagos pulls from a swath of synths to create a blissful, laid-back atmosphere. Drums counter with a steady backbeat that keeps things moving, cutting a path through the waves of sound to create a balance between the voices.
