In 2013, modern funk had a bit of a moment backed by Daft Punk and the commercial success of their Pharrell-assisted single “Get Lucky.” And electro-funk duo Chromeo look to continue the movement with their fourth album White Women expected early this year. They’ve already previewed the album with “Over Your Shoulder” and “Sexy Socialite.” Today, Chromeo share a third track, the synthy disco-inspired “Come Alive” featuring vocals from Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bundick that give the song just the right touch.

In addition to Toro y Moi, White Women will feature Ezra Koenig, Solange, and LCD Soundsystem’s Pat Mahoney. In support of the new album, Chromeo are also headed out on tour with Tokimonsta and Oliver which sees a stop at the BUKU Music + Arts Project as well as European dates. Stream “Come Alive” and see the full tour schedule below.
