It appears the Lily Allen comeback is in full swing. Following an attention-grabbing return to music with her controversial “Hard Out Here,” a no holds barred criticism of the pop industry’s treatment of women, she releases a much lighter second single off her forthcoming third album, a song called “Air Balloon.” Carrying on the electro-pop feel of her sophomore album It’s Not Me, It’s You, “Air Balloon” plays toward Allen’s strengths with a radio-friendly sound, a catchy-as-hell chorus, and cheeky lyrics like “I don’t like dropping names but Kurt Cobain is up in my face /¬†How the hell am I going to tell him Elvis already took first base?”

Hear “Air Balloon” below, and stay tuned for more details on her upcoming album expected this year.
