London four-piece Holy Milk make seductively morose music, and “Born and Die” is an excellent introduction to their sound. The shadowy track sounds as if its about snap at any moment, only doing so right as the song finishes. Making use of delicate, yet powerful vocals and a lurching drone, it’s wonderfully tense. Their quiet-storm approach lends itself well to its newly released mysterious clip, directed by Nathan Coetzee. It’s pretty morbid stuff, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Don’t be surprised if you hear more about these guys down the line.
