In the quest to write the most descriptive, evocative, and colorful blog posts and keep things interesting (for ourselves and others), it can be easy to neglect the obvious. Often the best reaction to a song is the first—not the hyper-processed sausage of verbal nonsense that exits your mind after too much thinking.
“Come With Me” by London’s Island Fox is beautiful. It may be many other things, depending on your perspective and particular set of ears, but “beautiful” was my knee jerk reaction. Evidently modern in its production, “Come With Me” doesn’t pander, never sacrificing prettiness in favor of a current style. Clocking in at nearly five minutes, it feels light and airy, never outstaying its welcome. Listen below.
