We’ve heard Raury over a variety of different production on his debut project Indigo Child, but how about hearing him on a SBTRKT beat?

That very prospect was one of the things we were most excited about when we saw the tracklist for SBTRKT’s forthcoming sophomore album Wonder Where We Land, and now the song has been shared. “Higher” sees Raury mainly in rapping mode over a simple, crisp beat, but also boasts a huge hook, which also apparently features Denai Moore on backing vocals. Check the track out above.

Previously we’ve heard “New Dorp. New York” and “Temporary View” from SBTRKT’s album, out September 23 via Young Turks.

Pigeons & Planes and Love Renaissance presents Raury’s debut New York show on September 22. Tickets and more info here.
