Charli XCX is on the brink of something big. Her Sucker album isn’t due out until December 16, but the 22-year-old London pop star has already cultivated a following that’s seen her pop up in movie soundtracks and on the cover of Complex.

Today Charli checks in with “London Queen,” a punk rock throwback that the singer describes as “future Ramones.” It was written by her producer Justin Raisen, which is normally a red flag for Charli. “That’s something that I would never usually do, take a song that’s basically almost been written for me,” she told Rolling Stone, “but it was a song that Justin made, and I was like, fuck, this song is so good and it feels like it’s about me.” Stream “London Queen” below, and scroll for Charli’s upcoming U.S. tour dates.
