British singer/songwriter James Bay has been receiving a lot of attention since the recent release of his sophomore EP, Let It Go. He’s now on the road as a part of Hozier’s sold out tour, and he’s continuing to win over fans with his live show and a steady stream of new records.

Today, Bay unleashes his new single, “Hold Back the River.” The 22-year-old singer’s stirring vocals are gripping, and the gentle acoustics build to a full-blown anthem. Bay was discovered thanks to a YouTube video of a performance at a pub. With songs like “Hold Back the River,” it’s easy to understand why he’s been performing at much larger venues lately.
