Long before the days of Run The Jewels or his majestic 2012 release R.A.P Music, Killer Mike was teaming up with DJ Greg Street to create “Sunday Morning Massacres,” an 18-track (eight skits) mixtape that stayed under wraps until this past Sunday.

The mixtape has Mike tackling, as usual, the issues most important to him: religious imagery plays a major part throughout the album with titles like “Caine and Abel,” “Neva/The Judas Theory,” and “Samson (Message to Young Black Athletes).” Spin reports that the album is a collection of freestyles, but that doesn’t change Mike’s content. He is a vehement critic of all that is wrong with American culture, and, as always, has the cadence and evidence to back it up. Stream/download below.
