Ah, the days of Myspace. As the first social network to be adopted by the public at large, Myspace used to be full of artists trying to share their music with the world. In fact, Lil B may or may not hold the record for the most Myspace accounts owned by a single person, thanks to the limited amount of track uploads granted on the site. One of the best things about the site now that it’s somewhat barren, is that the once thriving pages of some of our favorite musicians are still there.

Grimes alerted us to the presence of her first Myspace page via an Instagram post, alongside a warning that music contained on it sounds “vvvvvv sketchy.” There’s not much on there besides four tracks, but it’s an interesting look at Grimes’ music before the release of her first ever record. There’s a surprising amount of acoustic instruments in the songs, with the banjo on “World Brain” standing out as the most peculiar. Check out the Myspace here.
