Elliot Moss is a 21-year-old singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from New York who is releasing his album Highspeeds via Grand Jury on April 21. In the build up to the release, we’re happy to share “I Can’t Swim,” a driving, mournful song that counterpoints the singer’s fragile vocals with rougher guitars and crisp drums. The abstract but vivid imagery, dark subject matter, and mix of guitars and subtle electronic elements gives the song more of a Radiohead vibe than the Chet Faker feels of his older songs like “Slip.
