With his new EP, SV8, set to drop tomorrow, S-Type spent last week letting us experience two-thirds of the release, “Casper” (featuring Lunice) and the Yung Gud-featured “Fire.” What better way to heads hype for this minimal, club-ready side of S-Type by blending “Casper” with LuckyMe labelmate Baauer’s huge 2014 single “One Touch,” which helped ensure that those doubting Rae Sremmurd would do a double take.

The execution here is simple; at first, Aluna’s vocal from “One Touch” is layered over the beginning of the cut, which might not hook you immediately, but once those SremmLife boys hop on, it’s smooth sailing. Kind of wish this one was free; those crispy drums paired with those flows would be perfect for getting the club interested in a different kind of turn up.

SV8 is available for pre-order right now via iTunes and Bleep.
