Producer/multi-instrumentalist Adrian Younge launched his own label Linear Labs with a little help from a few notable friends with a concert at L.A.’s Regent Theater last night. Bilal and Kendrick Lamar were in the house during the event, and joined Younge onstage to share a previously unheard song called “Money Over Love.”
Bilal collaborated with Lamar on this spring’s To Pimp A Butterfly, and the trio were rumored to be working together as early as last summer. Bilal’s upcoming fourth studio album is produced entirely by Younge as well—the point of all this being, “Money Over Love” is almost certainly not the last collaboration you’ll hear from these artists.
Listen to the snippets below, and look out for studio version in the near future (we hope!).
