Little Rock, Arkansas rapper CUZ’s “Choppa Go Bang” follows the blueprint of nuanced, detail-driven street rap laid-out on the rapper’s previous single “Return Call.

“In the neighborhood you either with the shits or around the shits, so you affiliated either way,” says CUZ of his home in Little Rock, the area of the city that inspired the “Choppa Go Bang” and much of his upcoming self-titled project. “That don’t make you a bad person; we all products of our environment, some of us just don’t make it out.”

“Choppa Go Bang” is as mournful as it bold, embodying theĀ attitude necessary for survival in cities across America while lamenting its frequently fatal side effects.
