Statik Selektah’s Lucky 7 will finally hit shelves tomorrow, and the NYC producer is letting one more single loose for the occasion.

“In The Wind” is full of vintage vibes: trumpets and smooth electric guitar set the mood early, and Joey Bada$$ starts things off by unleashing what may be his best guest verse to date. He waxes philosophic on the responsibilities that come with power, setting an example for his little brother, and the uncertainty of the future. Big K.R.I.T. adds his distinctive Southern twang to the mix, and Chauncy Sherod ties it all together on the chorus.

Statik Selektah has mastered his New York sound, and this, his seventh studio album, has found the producer in rare form on every release we’ve heard thus far. Stream “In The Wind” below, and check out the rest of Lucky 7 on iTunes tomorrow.
