Let’s say you’re trying to impress a date with your knowledge of Aphex Twin for some reason, but you’ve never heard a second of his music and they’ll be over at your place in 20 minutes. You could pick through his discography and listen to a couple highlights, or you could try the video above, which plays every song from Aphex Twin’s studio albums at the same time.

It starts off sounding like you left a microphone in a lawnmower, and as the shorter tracks run their course, this composition thins out and is downright listenable by the end, since all that’s left at that point are longer tracks from Selected Ambient Works II. So really, you probably won’t learn much about Aphex Twin, except that his longer songs end quite nicely.

Listen to the audio above, but for your sake, make sure your speakers aren’t turned up too loud before you do.
