Ahead of its release tomorrow, Vince Staples has shared his new EP Prima Donna via Spotify and Apple Music. Stopping by Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show to premiere the EP, he also found the time for an interview, too. The EP features production from James Blake, No I.D., and DJ Dahi, with A$AP Rocky and Kilo Kish contributing vocals to tracks. "War Ready," which is produced by James Blake, features a sample from OutKast's "ATLiens."

During the interview portion of Zane Lowe's show, Staples expressed how he felt about people demanding new music from Frank Ocean. "I don't where we're at the point to where we can demand things," he says. "'Hey Frank Ocean, put out this album on Friday because you never said you were going to but we need it now or we don’t like you anymore.’ I didn't know when we started demanding rapid-fire from those kind of people. That’s when it gets weird. To me it’s a way to be polite. You're not deserving of that kind of treatment and it’s annoying, but they got what they want so they’re happy now.”

In the clip, he continues, "You’re not a person when you make music. You’re a link. You want to click it. 'You’re not uploaded yet. What happened, your mom died? Your car didn't start today? You’re not in a good mood? Where’s my song'?" Vince will be performing the new EP this weekend at FYF Fest, which takes place this weekend (August 27 and 28) in Los Angeles.
