James Blake returned earlier this year with the surprise release of The Colour in Anything, his third studio album. Released seemingly on a whim the day we first heard official news about it all the way back in May, Blake stripped things back for the album, opting to showcase his songwriting talents more than his impressive production chops. Thankfully, we still got to hear him challenge himself musically with a number of fantastic collaborations with Vince Staples and Trim, too.

Revisiting The Colour in Anything once again, Blake brought one of the album's many highlights, "My Willing Heart," to Late Night with Seth Meyers last night. Accompanied by three keyboards and his usual touring band setup, Blake's stunning performance on the show was only outdone by his interesting choice of shirt. Blake recently got caught in a quite polite beef with Hudson Mohawke over Twitter over an alleged collaboration.
