James Blake and Vince Staples seem to be joined recently—and we're not complaining. After lending production to Staples' Prima Donna EP last Friday, it was announced that Blake would be bringing the Long Beach rapper on the road with him for his North American tour this fall. Now, the two unite again as Blake shares a reworked version of his The Colour In Anything single, "Timeless," featuring a verse from Staples.

Like Blake's rework of "Life Round Here" with Chance The Rapper in 2013, the additional verse nicely rounds out the excellent production that shined on the original. One of the harder-edged songs on an album with many delicate moments, "Timeless" was the leading contender for a rap verse—and we can't think of many rappers better equipped for the job than the sharp-tongued Staples. Now that the studio version is here, we can finally stop replaying the stream of their Glastonbury performance over and over.
