Stoney may have been met with delays, but that doesn't mean that Post Malone can't preview some of the new music he's been working on. During his appearance in San Antonio, Texas last week for the Hollywood Dreams tour, Post decided to perform for his fans a new song from the upcoming album, and "Congratulations" features none other than Migos' Quavo.
With a melodic, trap-infused beat, "Congratulations" features a catchy and perfectly sing-a-longable hook. This, in addition to the already released Justin Bieber-assisted "Deja Vu," it's safe to say that Post Malone's debut album is shaping up nicely. Hopefully this means that Post is closer to finally dropping Stoney, which was originally slated for an August 26 (the same title of his mixtape from May) release.
Following the news of Stoney's delay, Post Malone apologized to his fans and expressed his disappointment, revealing in an open letter that he felt like "there's no excuse," and that he "needed everything to be perfect" for his fans, but he had "fucked up somewhere along the way." Having said that, he also promised that "the tracks are fucking awesome" and reassured fans that the album will arrive soon.
