On November 4, Common will release his 11th studio album Black America Again. Before its release next week, Common has shared a few singles from the album. So far he's shared the title track alongside Stevie Wonder, "Home," and "Joy and Peace"—the latter both featuring Bilal. Today he returns with another new single from the album.
The latest release from Common is a velvety smooth single titled "Red Wine." Starting off with hazy, yet mesmerizing production that feels familiar to something that would be one of The Internet's albums, it come as no surprise that Syd would open the track as the sound of violins dance around her sweet vocals. Common comes in to take control with the second verse before Elena's delicate voice enters to complete the record. The result of their collaboration feels equivalent to both the head-spinning and soothing effects one can feel after a few glasses of red wine.
