After performing the song during several stops on the Blank Face Tour, Joey Bada$$ has released the official version of his latest track, "Front & Center." The Cookin Soul-produced heater flips the Narcos theme music into a slinky instrumental. Backed by a sensual guitar loop and booming percussion, Joey raps about eye-catching women and incorporates a handful of Spanish phrases into his lyrics. The track is a departure from his usual '90s-inspired sound, proving his versatility.

The song is Joey's first official single since the May release of his uplifting track "Devastated." While he has not announced a new project, he continues to cryptically tweet the hashtag "#AABA," which fans have speculated is an acronym for his next album title. Joey hasn't released a full-length project since B4.DA.$$ in early 2015, and his fans have been anticipating a new album ever since.

Joey has also released a new Pro Era video to accompany "Front & Center."  The seven-minute clip includes footage from Joey's time on the Blank Face Tour with Schoolboy Q and offers fans a backstage look at his Terminal 5 performance in New York City.
