YG has never been one to hold his tongue. That much is very apparent on "FDT," his collaboration with Nipsey Hussle. However, even when he's not rapping about his strong disapproval for presidential candidates, YG always gives an honest take on the harsh realities of his community.

For his latest release, "One Time Comin'" YG paints the picture of the tense relationship between many African Americans and police officers. The cover art—which looks similar to memorial or obituary cards one would receive at a funeral—features a short dedication that states, "In loving memory of the victims of police brutality." YG manages to blend a serious but relatable story for many over an infectious rhythm that makes it easier to deal with the trauma.
