There's a lot of cute music going around lately. Lots of pitched up vocal effects, bouncing keys, tropical house, playful hip-hop, poppy electronic club anthems about living in the moment or whatever. Brooklyn duo Me Not You's debut is a perfect counterbalance to all that.

Pop elements are definitely present here, but "Bulletproof" has a bite to it. It's jagged and sharp, almost industrial at points, and while the vocals float over it all, the song itself that is more '90s alternative than 2016 pop. If you're looking for a break from the dainty approach of the present, check out Me Not You's debut below, and keep up with them on Twitter and SoundCloud.
