We've been waiting to hear the full version of "Kin" ever since Kevin Abstract included a 29-second snippet of the song on American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story (one of our favorite albums of the year).
Abstract shows off his range on the BLACKM0NDAY-produced track, rattling off a dexterous rap verse after opting to trade in raps for melody throughout the majority of American Boyfriend. This thing's been looping in my headphones since Kevin tweeted the link out this evening (I'm on listen number 12 already) and I can already say it would have been one of my favorites on the album had he included it. As he sings "it's all okay" over blooming synthesizers, I have no problem believing him. This is a great way to close out 2016.
Along with the song (which features background vocals from Roy Mabie), Kevin also shared a link to pre-order physical copies of American Boyfriend. Check that out here and listen to "Kin" below.
