Yung Lean recently announced he'd be delivering the follow-up to last year's Warlord, and now he's sharing yet another preview of the forthcoming record. Titled Stranger, Lean's third studio album arrives November 10 via YEAR0001, and from what we've heard so far it marks a change of sound once again. After previewing the album with "Red Bottom Sky" and "Hunting My Own Skin," he's shared "Skimask," offering a different taste of what's to come from the full record.
While the previous two singles we've heard take a pretty, pop-like approach, "Skimask" is a bit more traditional for a Lean song. With a sticky hook and sublime production, it's the type of song that sounds perfect for one of his energetic live shows. It's easily the hardest hitting single from the album so far, and part of that is thanks to the production provided by long-time producer Gud.
Listen to "Skimask" below, and check out Lean's upcoming North American tour dates below that.
