"It's all about energy," Killy explained to us earlier this year. "I make energy music. It's all off mood, feeling, energy."

Whatever energy he's tapped into this year, it's working. Since catching fire with his video for "Killamonjaro," the rising Toronto rapper has racked up millions of plays on his follow-up releases: "Stolen Identity," "Distance," and "No Romance." Now, he's back with a Bluxz-produced song called "Forecast" that rides Killy's addictive, melodic flow for two minutes. Then he flips a switch and explodes at the end of the final verse, screaming his way to the finish. Energy.

If you're new to Killy, watch him explain his approach to music in the video below and continue for another early standout, "Stolen Identity."
