Since finding viral breakout success with his video for "Killamonjaro" in mid-2017, Toronto rapper Killy has been picking his spots.

Every few months, a new song has showed up on his SoundCloud page, and each time they've been excellent. Leaning into his unique energy, he's been putting out consistently quality songs that pair catchy auto-tune-soaked vocals with hard-hitting production. Citing Travis Scott and Kanye West as major influences, Killy's sound is connecting at the perfect time and he's doing it his way. On Twitter, he explained, "I passed on million dollar offers so I could give yall this project exactly how I envisioned it."

Killy tells The Fader that he recorded over 100 songs for Surrender Your Soul, but ended up with a concise, top-to-bottom consistent project produced by 1mind, Y2K, and Wondagurl. Listen to Surrender Your Soul on SoundCloud below or find it on iTunes/Apple Music and Spotify.
