Lykke Li, the young Swedish singer behind this year’s outstanding Youth Novels, announced that she will be touring North America, starting Jan. 31.

Before that, Li will be performing at mtvU’s Woodie Awards on Nov. 19, backed by Au Revoir Simone and Bjorn Yttling (of Peter Bjorn and John), and then joining Q-Tip for a performance of A Tribe Called Quest’s “Can I Kick It?”. Oh man, I can not wait to see Lykke Li and Q-Tip on the same stage. For me, that is as good as when I found out John Darnielle and Aesop Rock were getting together for a collabo. I’m definitely going to catch Lykke Li live at some point.
