Here’s another one from Bright Eyes‘ upcoming The People’s Key, out February 15th. Haile Selassie was the emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974 and followers of the Rastafari movement believe him to be God incarnate. As with “Shell Games“, “Haile Selassie” showcases Bright Eyes ditching the twangy folk vibe for a more robust rock sound.
