I’m sorry.

I’m sorry.

Look I’m sorry okay, this is unfortunately not new Daft Punk. My most sincere apologies if you (as I did) got really, really excited, and thought finally we had some new (non movie soundtrack) music from the legends that are Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. This is instead a “lost” track from 1994, before they were famous, before they’d released debut album Homework (1997) around the time they were working on early tracks such as “Da Funk“. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, this song, which Annie Mac played on her Radio 1 show a bit earlier today, is now on the interwebz for your listening pleasure.

This is a very raw, in your face piece of music, showing Daft Punk in their early stages, but nevertheless it bangs hard, so check it out below, and grab Soma Records: 20 Years 3CD retrospective (out Monday) if you want to own this piece of music.
