Arcade Fire fans: rejoice. Drummer Jeremy Gara visited Ottawa radio station CKCU 93.1 (where Gara was a DJ for in the 90s) recently and revealed some pretty big news. According to the interview, the Montreal band is currently in the studio putting together their fourth LP. It’s been in the works for a “few months now,” and while the band is “under no pressure from record labels or management” or a strict schedule, they aim to release said album in late 2013. Gara also mentioned that the prospect of raising a family is now becoming a priority for some of the band. Let’s just hope that doesn’t interfere with a potential new Arcade Fire record.
