There are benefits to being a two-person band. Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss make up Sleigh Bells, and in a recent interview with Huffington Post they explained that not having to deal with the group dynamics of a proper-sized band makes things move a little more quickly.

After dropping their second album, Reign of Terror, in 2012, Sleigh Bells is keeping things going with another album in production for 2013. A few songs are already finished and the two sound confident with the shape it’s taking. Of it, Miller said, “It’s a lot more clean… it might sound surprising.” Krauss added, “I use my voice in more of a, dare I say, traditional way.”
