A$AP Rocky has teamed up with Noisey for a documentary series titled SVDDXNLY. The collaboration is being released in five installments, chronicling the Harlem rapper’s rise to stardom and current life in the spotlight. In the very first segment released today, cameras trail Rocky and the A$AP Mob as they put on a show at the Palladium in Los Angeles and open for Rihannas tour. Footage cuts away frequently for intimate one-on-one conversations with the rapper and his family, revealing baby pictures, anecdotes of what Rakim Mayers was like as a kid, and the story of the first rhyme Rocky ever spit. The David Laren-directed series will feature additional cameos from Drake, Danny Brown, Macklemore, and more. Stay tuned for the next four installments. UPDATE:  Noisey has release the second portion of their documentary SVDDXNLY. The second segment features unreleased music, Rocky opening up about his late brother Ricky, and appearances from both Macklemore and Drake. UPDATE 2:  Noisey’s third segment has been released. Part three includes a tour of Rocky’s Los Angeles home and footage from A$AP Mob’s SXSW brawl. UPDATE 3: The 4th installment is up. The episode includes appearances from Jeremy Scott, Kathy Griffin, and Snoop Dogg.   UPDATE 4: The fifth and final segment has been released. Rocky talks about the future while Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Riff Raff, and Schoolboy Q make appearances.
