The art of internet trolling can take years to perfect. There are hundreds of thousands of professional trolls who still can’t get it right.

And then there is Prince.

Over the past decade, Prince has earned a reputation for being averse to the internet, or at least to the way the internet interacts with music. “The internet’s completely over,” he said in a 2010 interview. “I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can’t get it. The internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good.”

Now it’s 2014, this no-good internet is still around, and Prince has┬átaken a step to become more involved with it. Yesterday, September 30, Prince joined Facebook.

Soon after, he posted: “Join Prince for an exclusive Q&A on Facebook right here at 12pm PT/ 3PM EST!! Submit your questions below!!!”

Hours passed, and Prince did not answer any of his fans’ questions. Thousands were submitted. Then, after three hours, Prince decided to answer a single question. The question: “Please address the importance of ALL music being tuned to 432hz sound frequencies???”

Prince answered with three words and a link. His three words were “The Gold Standard” and the link leads┬áto this article.

That is the only answer Prince has given. As of now, 3,945 questions have been asked. Welcome to the internet, Prince. Looks like you’ve already got the hang of it.
