Time and time again, Kevin Abstract and the rest of Brockhampton have proven why they’re among one of the most exciting forces in hip-hop right now. “Bet I,” our introduction to the “all American boy band” as a musical outfit, presented itself as a promising demonstration of what these young artists can really create when together. Everyone in Brockhampton has the potential to be a future star, but as a group they’re pretty much capable of taking over the world.

In the deceivingly simple and glitchy video for the merciless track, all of the performers take it in turns to make a point of their own substantial talents. Facing the camera with nothing more than a barren white backdrop, this is a video all about the artists behind the music. Even if they insist they’re a not collective, it’s becoming increasingly clear that we haven’t seen a group of young creatives this exciting since Odd Future first emerged. So in other words, these dudes are the real deal.
