Now that we’re halfway through March, festival season is officially upon us. Events like Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Governor’s Ball have all announced their line-ups (all equally great), and now one more is revealing their roster. Osheaga Music Festival started announcing their acts today, but through a very unconventional, and very awesome, way. They created a mobile driving game app, where users can drive through courses to collect the names of the performers.
According to Consequence of Sound, those who have downloaded the game have already uncovered a handful of the acts, including The Black Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Florence and the Machine, St. Vincent, Nas, Tyler the Creator, Run the Jewels, Future Islands, Action Bronson, ScHoolboy Q, and Raury among others.
The Road to Osheaga is available on iTunes today, but the fest will deliver a more official announcement of their line-up on March 24. Osheaga will take place July 31st – August 2nd at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau, and you can grab tickets on the 24th as well.
