Red Nose Day is an biennial charity event organized by Comic Relief to “change the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people.” The idea is to “make your face funny for money,” mainly by putting on a red Rudolph nose.
This year, Red Nose Day will throw its fundraising concert in London. It’s there that Sam Smith and John Legend will perform this duet for the first and only time at London’s Palladium.
The two will sing Smith’s “Lay Me Down,” and the concert takes place March 13. Legend told reporters “Sam is such a talented artist. We’ve been looking forward to working together for a while now. I’m so glad we could collaborate on such a great song and for such a great cause.”
