In the past couple of months, it seems like there’s been more bad news than good news about Tidal. Just when it appeared as if the company would finally be able to get through an entire month without any negative press, here we are at the end of June with some more unfortunate news.
According to the Wall Street Journal, yet another Tidal CEO will be leaving. After just three months on the job, Tidal’s interim CEO Peter Tonstad has officially left the company. Tonstad had been filling in since the former CEO Andy Chen left in April.
A representative of the company told the Wall Street Journal, “We are thankful to Peter for stepping in as interim CEO and wish him the best for the future.” However, there has yet to be an official announcement about who the new replacement will be.
