Friends and increasingly frequent collaborators, the Golden Coast’s Kehlani and Chicago’s Chance The Rapper share the black-and-white visual for “The Way.” The two artists slide close to each other, intertwining bodies and flirtatiously playing with the space between them.

The record, lifted from Kehlani’s April-released project You Should Be Here, details the singer’s infatuation for all aspects of the apple of her eye. Before and after Chance enters the picture, she controls the frame alongside a pair of backup dancers, who shadow their leader’s every move in tandem.

In May, the songstress opened up to Billboard about working with the versatile Social Experiment member: “It was really natural. One thing I’ve always admired about Chance is that he has this ‘working with your friend’ quality. He doesn’t care how big the person is or if it’s gonna get him any fans or followers.”
