Earlier this month, fans of the late Amy Winehouse got a more intimate look at the singer’s life through the documentary, Amy. Mixed among the behind-the-scenes footage captured in the film are interviews with a few musicians that were particularly close to Winehouse, one of which being Yasiin Bey.

Today, on the fourth anniversary of her death, a clip of Bey’s segment was released in which he passionately defends Winehouse and her artistic legacy. “She did more with her talent than just use dope,” Bey said. “As a matter of fact, she brought you some joy.”
